Submit New Journal Information

This form is only used by publisher’s or Editors who want to suggest a  to have a journal added to PEP-Web.   For an agreed upon new journal, this form provides detailed information to help us add the new journal.  It’s essential to provide as much information as possible in the form, and as accurately as possible.

Suggested 3-7 letter code, e.g., JAPA
What's the primary language. If articles are in various languages, list the most common languages found.
Currently, how many issues per year are published?
Approximately how many pages per issue are published?
First year to last year, or to current year, e.g., 1920-current, or 1920-1980
If journal is online, what is the URL
This is a URL of an image we can use as the journal logo in the banner of each article. Preferred size: 100 x 60 pixels (we can resize if necessary)
If you have other textual formats, like Word, XML, or HTML, this can be very helpful and improve conversion accuracy. PDFs of the original published formatting (or paper copies) are still required because it guarantees we have the original formatting and page breaks. About back issues to be included

How many volumes have already been published that are included?
Give a list of volumes, or volume ranges, where PDFs are available. It can be as simple as PDFs are available for Vol 72 on, Or it can be specific ranges where PDFs are available.
List the volumes or volume ranges where the journal is available in print.
Total pages to be converted (existing issues)
Count spaces and punctuation. Important: Count characters with diacritics (e.g., accents, umlaut, cedilla) as TWO characters.
An estimate or count of the total # of characters in all the issues (or # of pages * # of characters per page). Count spaces and punctuation. Important: Count characters with diacritics (e.g., accents, umlaut, cedilla) as TWO characters.
Number of graphics (figures/illustrations/non-called out graphics) for all issues.
