NADINE_HEADSHOTNadine A. Levinson, D.D.S, is one of the two co-managing Directors of Psychoanalytic Electronic Publishing, Inc. She oversees business, financial, contractual, and US Marketing matters for PEP. She is the point person for new Journal and Book content and works with the Technical Director to seamlessly bring on new content. Nadine manages the various vendors and publishers involved with the digitization and development of new content, including video archival material added to PEP.  The PEP Foundation, which works collaboratively with other psychoanalytical organizations and societies throughout the world to get the PEP Archive database to institutions in economically compromised parts of the world, was conceptualized and implemented by Dr. Levinson.

In addition to her PEP activities, Dr. Levinson is a practicing psychoanalyst in Laguna Niguel, California. She is a Training and Supervising psychoanalyst at the  San Diego Psychoanalytic Center, where she has actively served on many faculty and administrative committees and as Assistant Director of Education.

Dr. Levinson holds an appointment as Clinical Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Human Behavior at the University of California at Irvine and teaches psychiatric residents about dynamic psychoanalytic psychotherapy. She is an active member of the International Psychoanalytical Association, the American Psychoanalytic Association (APsaA), and the American Dental Association. Dr. Levinson was past Treasurer of the International Psychoanalytical Association, where she developed several new initiatives with regard to dues and finances and was responsible for streamlining the organization. In 2002, the APsaA honored her with the Distinguished Service Award for her many accomplishments and exemplary service. Dr. Levinson co-edited with Eleanor Schuker, the book: Female Psychology: An Annotated Psychoanalytic Bibliography, an exhaustive collection of annotations of the psychoanalytic literature about all aspects of female psychology. She has authored and co-authored several additional articles on female psychology and other topics such as the psychological aspects of dental practice.
